Donovan Ruddock

And finally, on Halloween, October 31st, 1992, Lennox Lewis was dishing out genuine frights in London.

He defended his Commonwealth heavyweight strap against Donovan Razor Ruddock.

Ruddock was famous for that terrifying hybrid smash punch, but Lewis wasn't trick-or-treating.

Lennox starched him inside two rounds with a right hand so clean it practically sent Ruddock into next month.

That knockout put the entire heavyweight division on official notice.

... against Mike Moorer, against Lennox Lewis.

I know something, Mike, Mike's greatest fights, in my opinion, the ones I enjoyed the most, were the two b- bone-breaking, uh, Razor Ruddock.

Yeah, yeah.

Do you remember those fights when he fought Donovan Ruddock?

And he literally, effectively put his arm around him, and, "This is my man." He said, "I wouldn't be who I am without Donald Trump." And Mike Tyson's right.

Remember in the '80s, if you're old enough, remember in the '80s when Mike Tyson was knocking people out in the first round, beating the breaks off of Michael Spinks, beating Michael Spinks into retirement, Razor Ruddock, Larry Holmes, Trevor Berbick.

All of those fights were in Atlantic City.

That was the, the unholy trinity of Don King, Mike Tyson, and Donald Trump.

What's the-

I think Razor Ruddock.

Razor Ruddock, yeah.

Razor Ruddock, yeah.

Yeah, and for those who've never been in a ring, Mike, and you have many, many times, what is that feeling like when the bell goes and you're getting into a fight with somebody? What is the actual feeling you experience?

I can say this, so I can say it on this television.

Both guys hit the deck in their fight.

You know what I mean? And then we also had gotten Tommy Morrison against Razor Ruddock later in their careers, and that was another fight where it was a knockdown, dragout fight.

So with Fury and AJ, the rematch, I can see both guys...

Oh, and I can't forget Wilder and Fury part three.
