I'm like, how off is my math? Because I've had great teachers.

I hate that many teachers have to essentially go on things like DonorsChoose to ask for funding because that funding should rightfully come from school districts.

So...

One, if you do feel inclined to go to something like DonorsChoose or if you send a kid back to school, see what you can do to help the classroom out.

But more importantly, go to your school board meetings.

Make sure you understand local elections.

This is also a good moment to shout out DonorsChoose, one of my favorite organizations in the world.

That's usually a little more specific than just snacks and stuff, but it's amazing.

Well, circling back, so who is a hero that you've met that either was a good or, like, you know, or in retrospect, not as good a hero? You said don't meet your heroes.

There's some really amazing folks out there.

And again— It's a bummer it's on us to find them, but there are platforms that let you find them.

Again, like that spreadsheet and DonorsChoose and all these other places.

It can just feel when we lose Dolly that we lose a lot of the hope because we're so surrounded by everything else that is both either bad or so nuanced that you feel like, I don't want to know.

So something like that, I think, would also be very cool.

There's, um, that reminded me, just real quick, uh, DonorsChoose is, is something like that for teachers.

Mm-hmm.

And that's another...

Yeah.

Um, and I have, my kids have benefited from really good schools and really good teachers and, um, there have been times, like you said, where you don't have to be in your kid's classroom.

You could be impacting kids generally, where I've given, uh, donated to some projects on DonorsChoose just to make sure that, that I was thinking about all the kids in my community and not just, like you said, the really well-resourced schools where my kids were.

So that's another, like, direct one.

You know, we're doing this big campaign.

And it's just our way of, I mean, there's so many amazing teachers that deserve the recognition.
