So that's, yeah.

And so it's about art and I suppose the theme goes through me being influenced by Suzy Cuatro and then there was a group called Fagam who were the Feminist Urban Guerrilla Movement and you might like this, Fiona, you could have been a member.

And anyway, we used to go out at night and do graffiti about domestic violence because no one would fund us to do community education about domestic violence in the 80s.

So we used to get out with our little spray cans and write domestic violence is a crime on walls in spray paint.

Yeah, which is not a genre that is necessarily associated with cabaret, which has more of a music theatre slash storytelling kind of vibe about it.

Yeah.

It's moved now.

And I thought, okay, it was helping at a women's refuge or being a worker and it was about picking up women in white vans and getting them safely away from a violent situation and then trying to help them find housing.

and a different life.

So I did that for 18 months in the western suburbs here.

And at that time, this is also in art, accidents and underpants, the government wouldn't give us any money to do community education.

So in the 80s, like domestic violence was like some secret thing that was hidden and people were ashamed.

You like them too? Well, are you talking about like the refineries with all the lights? Yeah.

It is the Constitution that gave us the fundamental freedoms we have that lay the framework for any subsequent civil rights achievements that we have.

Today, there's been this divisiveness in trying to make everything about race and it's been used in a vindictive way.

And for me, that's, uh, that's really, uh, concerning because, you know, I wake up every morning and I'll say, oh, today I'm a black American.

What am I going to do as a black person? I don't even see myself that way.

I see myself as an American.

And I just find that to be debasing, but I just find that also is the fruit of a real debate terrible campaign of gaslighting of people that uh you didn't build that to borrow from president obama
