like she's like that's huge immediately after she did book smart which was like critically uh uh like lauded like people loved that movie yeah it was really really really fucking good yeah and then her first project after that is this giant movie with uh don't what is it called? Don't worry darling.

And yeah, she gets paid for it.

Just like the Indian Everett thing we were just talking about.

Like, he was in Don't Worry Darling.

He was in My Policeman.

I read that book because I knew he would be in that movie.

Um, I think it's not like a plot twisty film, but I do think there are some surprises or some content that you kind of don't want to get spoiled for you before you go watch the movie.

So quickly, like I said, this is Olivia Wilde's third directorial effort after Booksmart and Don't Worry Darling, two movies that were very differently appreciated.

And it follows a couple, played by Olivia Wilde and Seth Rogen, who invite their upstairs neighbors, played by Edward Norton and Penelope Cruz, over for a dinner party.

It's over the course of the dinner party, things come out, things are said, discussions are had.

... genuinely everything is bullshit, and this kind of, even though it's not anywhere near the same exact thing, it reminds me of the conversation we were having in the "Don't Worry Darling" episode where it's like we are the Spider-Man meme sometimes out here in the streets, fighting with each other in the comments, you know, like, literally, like, ending relationships with people over celebrities-

... and over famous people, and half the time what we're fighting about is bullshit.

They think Olivia Wilde will be there for The Invite, which will be very interesting 'cause that film came out this year and it's been a bit of a sleeper hit.

And Olivia Wilde, of course, who stars in the film as well, was absolutely laughed out of Hollywood when Don't Worry Darling came out.

Mm-hmm.

Which we all might remember the not great Harry Styles performance.
