Don Schumacher

So where do you base the shop from? Is the shop in California or do you base it out of the Midwest?

We are in the old DSR, Don Schumacher building.

Antron's in there.

There's about five teams at least.

I've actually been in that shop.

I was in Indianapolis one time, and this was probably 10 years ago.

And we I had a mechanic that used to work for Don Schumacher on the drag side.

And he said, you want to go check it out? And we there was nobody there.

Did you have a drag racing idol when you were a kid?

Don Schumacher.

He drove the Stardust funny car.

But you were like, this was what your plans were.

You slept under the truck, you know, the trailer and shit.

There was none of this fancy panty.

But my idols was like Don Schumacher.

And lo and behold, I ended up becoming great friends with his son, the winningest driver, top deal history, Tony Schumacher.

I'm going to beat it all day long.

You know what I mean? Don't

you remember in Phoenix we did? Oh, testing.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

You

know what I mean? It's a bunch of fun over here.

How early on after Don was born, did you start thinking of putting a timeline of coming back?

That's a great question.
