Can you tell me what the marching band program was like at the time that you took over?

Well, interestingly enough, I mean, the marching band program was parades, period.

I would guess it had probably been six or eight or ten years since they'd done a field show, a halftime show, what they called it.

Yeah, yeah.

So after I went and saw the drum corps and became very interested in learning all about that, I talked to the pep club advisor and said, would you like to do something together? And so we said, yeah, let's march.

It was interesting because we hosted the region marching festival at AF.

And the first time that they marched in years.

Do you buy into those numbers? And how much do you think PIM could take out?

Well, there's a difference, I think, between waste and then administrative efficiency, too.

So, yes, there's waste in the system because not everybody, not every EMR, not every component of what we do is efficient and efficiently handled.

I've been involved with rural hospitals, and it's very difficult in today's world to export the kind of competency it takes to run a very solid and efficient revenue cycle system.

All the practice has to do is submit the claim, and we take care of everything else, where we eliminate the denials and the appeals and the things like that that go with it, where every episode of care is basically determined.

We call it deterministic in software speak, so that there is no post-episode negotiation over what gets paid or when it gets paid.
