Don Chipp

I think definitely under Annaleena Hesse Waters, the Greens had become sort of quite a reliable partner with Labor and when it came to passing legislation, and they definitely helped Labor pass a lot of legislation, um, in the last, uh, year and a half or so.

Are the Greens still relevant, I guess, is what I'm saying? Because when Don Chipp started the Democrats, they certainly were.

"Keep the bastards honest," and they had a big following, and they petered off.

Are the Greens still relevant in, i- do you think?

Right

... ultimately the Australian Democrats by Don Chipp.

Um-

Mm.
