Don Basham

God doesn't give up when church people can't get along.

My own grandfather, Don Basham and Derek Prince and Bob Mumford and Ern Baxter, they had this amazing union, this brotherhood.

And then when that didn't continue, a lot of people just like lost their faith.

They lost the vision.

Then I got to contact them.

No, Omega Man found some posts that I'd made about Don Basham, grabbed all the audios that I'd spent that summer previous recording.

And then Steve Quayle makes a shout out to me and the people of Covenant about how important those teachings from Derek Prince and everybody were.

I mean, small world.

[chuckles] You know? Get that one.

And just the legacy anointing.

Um, people don't like to hear this, but there is such a thing as authority in, in the patriarchy, and I'm, like, one of the least expected grandkids of Don Basham to be doing this.

But not only am I doing this, I'm picking up mantles of forsaken authority, patriarchal mantles left and right, because it appears that God has elected many warriors for these end times.

Super thankful for this.

But what my grandfather Don Basham discovered was that the Holy Spirit baptism, it's all about miracles.

And he wants to give you those miracles.

You don't want to stop at just what Billy Graham had to say.

This broadcast is a mere shadow of many great leaders.

The first Don Basham ministry letter, we have a section called Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, basically, the legendary laborers, I think we wrote.

And it's really about being tied into some of the greatest teachers, but then not dwelling there and staying there.

We'd like to actually promote many, many people who we've come across that are neglected.

The network, I guess.

Not really competing with networks, but more of an archive.

I think we're assembling kind of a library of Ern Baxter, Don Basham.

I've also found some other obscure but heroic wonders.

I receive the Holy Spirit.

Where'd my Holy Spirit book go about receiving the Holy Spirit? We'll get back to Hebrews chapter 11, but this is my grandfather, Don Basham.

This is one of his books that he wrote, Holy Spirit Baptism Handbook.

And I was kind of flabbergasted.

And so what really broke through here was we...

We need these Holy Spirit gifts.

We need Don Basham.

We need Derek Prince.

The it's an old Lutheran church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, full of Germans.

And, um, it was all because after my grandfather, Don Basham passed away, my father regained his faith, listening to Johann Sebastian Bach's passion of the Christ, which I recommend anybody listen to with the subtitles.

Anyway, it wasn't the church for us.

And then we, we went to a Lutheran church in Miami and, um, I remember the Sunday school there, they had Atari.

Eccentric he is.

He was in the Children of God.

He followed my grandfather, Don Basham and Derek Prince and Bob Mumford.

And then he joined the Anglicans, something like that.

The Canary Cry episode has received some attention.

So people are interested in the Don Basham newsletter.

They want to get it.

They want to be on the mailing list.

And he didn't have the full revelation of the Holy Spirit.

So I shouldn't compare him to those that did and do, but there's a level of revelation and also breaking off that religious spirit, which is so prevalent in so dangerous and wicked being in the religious spirit but he really helped me a lot being from the Basham family the Derrick Prince circuit and navigating like a bunch of backsliders love my family but they're not exactly that interested in serving God outright kind of everybody serves him in this like weird underground way having faith and believing in God and wanting to help people find God, but then not investing any of our energy or time getting involved in ministry in any serious way when it comes to where the ministry gifts are in operation.

And nobody told me that Kenneth Copeland, prophet Kenneth Copeland preached in the backyard of Don Basham in the sixties.

Nobody told me this.

And that's really how this all developed.

This was bringing in people like Derrick Prince, Don Basham, A.A. Allen.

If you go from the 1960s into the 1970s, this is about the time the shepherding movement starts to form.

And the shepherding movement had William Branham's campaign manager, Ern Baxter, who Four others were joining together to create this authoritarian structure, and they were claiming spiritual authority, not only over the spirits, but also over the people, which was a little bit disturbing.

So this gets really scary when you piece the two timelines together.

Fast forward to the 1970s.

the exorcist novel as i mentioned the exorcist film in 1973 demon possession becomes a mass market entertainment in hollywood and books and newspaper articles there is a public fascination with the occult that just simply explodes That's the same point in which Don Basham wrote his Deliver Us From Evil book, Frank and Ida Mae Hammond's Pigs in the Parlor book, which Chino and I mentioned in our podcast on deliverance.

Deliverance ministries were literally creating ways to systematize and reproduce the deliverance concept to combat things that were happening in the fictional world and in the occult world.

So we're gonna be going into the Word of God, the quantum word of faith as it's known, because really science is only just now beginning to discover the secrets that have been right there in the Bible this whole entire time.

Just look at the, the Book of John, chapter 1, and look at all these, these people out there that are missing out, that are missing out on the, the full power of the gospel as the Basham family, my, my grandfather Don Basham worked closely with Derek Prince, and Derek Prince found so many secrets regarding the complete gospel, the complete salvation, and I invite you to join us right now.
