What happens with games that are...

So Dominion is, of course, a deck builder.

Yes.

Because there's nothing else.

In my books, it's not a deck builder-

Mm-hmm

... 'cause it's so far from the pure deck-building experience that started with Dominion.

Yeah.

So Mystic Veil is like just kind of a straight up deck builder, but with card crafting.

So any deck build you've ever played, Dominion, whatever, it's the same type of mechanism where you're building up your deck.

Eventually you're getting cards that give you points.

What have you.

Yeah, I've enjoyed playing that.

And the other one I haven't played is called Boss Fighters.

I didn't hear that one.

I think I've got an example of that.

So for the blurted games...

I've put Dominion, not necessarily because of the rules, but because of just how much content there is.

They kept on introducing more and more expansions.

I love them so much.

I really enjoyed, I was a, I played Magic a lot, and I loved constructing my own deck, and then when Dominion came out, and then just sort of like redefined what, what this whole category was about.

Doing that within a game, like building your engine within a game is so much fun.

Yes, absolutely.

And it's an interesting combination.

Of course, I love the ones that stack on top of each other, and there is a whole bunch more of those as well for that, so.

Yeah, I like, there's a, certainly if we're, we're talking, I mentioned Dominion at the beginning, I like that there's a card type in Dominion which is the traditionally the chapel card, which lets you trash cards out of your deck.

And I think-

If I, if I truly think about innovative games, there's been so many...

I'm gonna say Dominion.

... like board games and card games specifically, I know Dominion's a bit of an older game now, but it was one of the first deck builder games that really made that style of game super popular, and I know it's, uh, quite a bit different than RPGs, but there are certain elements when you're taking that chance to build something that is given in front of you.

Yeah.

You don't have a choice other than what's there, and you have to build a strategy from that, and it would be interesting to see if there was a RPG that was similarly built.
