So do you mind sharing how you got to where you are today? We'll say the three to five-minute version if we could.

Y- I was gonna say, Chris, how far back do you want me to go? 'Cause I, I mean, I can start talking about my parents and where they're from if you'd like.

But I'm 29 currently, um, not that age really matters in anything, but I like to start my story back in college 'cause that's really how I fell into the insurance world.

Um, I was a finance undergrad playing university hockey and didn't really know that I wanted to go into banking or be a financial planner, advisor, anything of that sort, and didn't really know what the future held for me.

Um, and towards the back half of my junior year, I took a risk management course thinking that it was going to be, like, hedge funds and derivatives and stocks and betas and everything related to financial risk, and, uh, it ended up actually being a more personal and homeowners-type risk management course because the finance that I was in was more based towards people going down the financial planning track.

So it was life insurance, homeowners, personal auto, things of that sort.

Um, and, and really naturally gravitated towards the topic and, and towards the end of it was teaching a lot of my peers the content, um, to the extent that the professor, who at the time was a vice president of claims at Erie Insurance, um, pulled me to the side and said, "Hey, have you thought about a career in insurance? You know, y- not somebody that is necessarily very vocal about the idea in class, but, um, you really naturally gravitate towards this stuff and, you know, you're, well, you're one of the students that sticks to selling in this, this specific course." At the time I was like, "No, who would wanna work in insurance, right?" So, uh, he kinda just said, "Hey, come, come to my office hours tomorrow.

Y- we just talked about your experience a little bit, but, but how is that experience helping to shape what your new business is gonna offer? And, and for our listeners who may not be familiar with Mitti, maybe you can pro- let's- why don't we start with this?
