Myself, Dom Shaw, and Chris Cassidy from BoroPolis, who's joining us today in the absence of Scott Wilson.

And ordinarily, when there's a tight turnaround between a Saturday game and a Tuesday game, you think like, you know, is, is it worth, is it worth doing a pod, or do you wait until the second game's out the way and look back? Well, we, we could spend 90 minutes here talking about Boro four, Norwich three, and I still suspect we'd come off the call at the end thinking, "Ah, we forgot to get to this.

We forgot to get to that." So we will have a look forward to Millwall at the end, but there's obviously plenty to get into, uh, when we look back on that Norwich game, and I think the Championship generally, actually, 'cause I think it's been quite an interesting week with, with some developments and results.

Um, hope you got back and forth from London a couple of times if you made those very, very lengthy trips.

Um, and obviously we're gonna have a, a quick look back at Palace in the week, um, and, and a few of the talking points that came out with that.

But the main focus for the vid will be tomorrow's home game against Norwich City, what we can expect, what Boro can expect, um, and hopefully what they need to do to get three points on the board.

It's a funny one because I was spot... talking to Dom Shaw about this before, and he, he was at the Rangers friendly last season, a game which Nitto Borgie scored in, and he said he could tell straight away Rob Edwards did not, was not having Borgie at all.

Mm.

Not in a left back, not as a, a left-hand side of a back three, he just wasn't having him and he was out on loan pretty much that week.

Hi everyone and welcome to the first of this week's editions of UMI Borough with myself Scott Wilson and Dom Shaw from the Northern Echo.

Plenty to get stuck into.

We're going to have a little look back at the weekend and obviously Borough's win as cute we are.

I dunno what that will create, uh, convert to in British change.

But Dom Shaw did say on the Echo that a deal has been agreed with the top flight club in Croatia, and Pukstas is expected to have his move finalized after his club's UEFA Conference League playoff second leg, which is tonight of time of recording on Thursday.

Um, he is a highly rated young midfielder.

Boro have apparently beaten a number of UK and overseas clubs to his signing.

It's not the sort of signing that wows you, but it's one that was absolutely necessary and one I think Boro have done very, very well to get done.

Another tentative link that has popped up earlier today as Dave recording was Toby Collier of Manchester United.

That has quickly been squashed by Dom Shaw, the midfielder who I think's been on loan at West Brom and Hull City.

Hasn't really set the world alight at either of them clubs.

Myself, Dom Shaw and Scott Wilson, and we're recording this, uh, early afternoon Wednesday, a few hours after Boro got through to the third round of the Carabao Cup with a win over Doncaster.

Who are we fancying, Scott, in the next round?

Well, we asked, we asked Carl Joseph that very question on the touchline at, I think it's called Doncaster Sports Village now.

They're waiting to do a deal with Middlesbrough.

Now, the Northern Echo's Dom Shaw has since put out, um...

Let's have a look here.

So Dom went, "Boro and I haven't had any contact from PAOK, but reports like that clearly don't come from nowhere."

... as well, mate.

So Warren Carter's been on.

He said there, Dom Shaw, just echoing what you said, said there's been no contact from Pau.

Um, Stu Goalie again said he's surprised Hendy can write.

Sanjay Hansen has been quite vocal on social media during his time at Middlesbrough.

Most recently, he's been on TikTok showing that he was in some mysterious place and it's been reported by the Northern Echo and Dom Shaw that Sanjay Hansen is closing in on a move away from the club.

Now, it's not yet clear where he is going to be moving to.

But it does seem that given that Sanjay Hansen hasn't really featured for Middlesbrough in the last couple of weeks with the season now up and running, it seems like he probably has played his last game for Middlesbrough and that he's likely to be moving on with Middlesbrough set to cut their losses and throw their attention behind a slightly different profile of attacking player.
