Dominic Minns

Although Luke from Timid Whoop, which is his legal name, I know he has another podcast now, but I still call him Luke from Timid Whoop.

uh, messaged me about another CBB show, um, uh, directed by Dominic Minns called Supertato, which ran for four seasons, uh, from like 2021 to 25 or something like that.

It's about a potato and his, and, um, and there's like basically anthropomorphic vegetables in a grocery store and they have adventures and stuff and fight off, uh, evil pee.

It was a pee.

Yeah, that's quite a long time actually, to be honest.

Uh, produced by Blue Zoo Animation Studios, the series is currently in production, with Dominic Minns serving as series director.

Oh, Minns previously directed acclaimed CBeebies series, including Mojo, Swap Tops, and Supertato.

I have seen Supertato, um, for my sons.

No. I'll tell you what.

So I know I've been talking about this for a while and I've been talking about Mojo Swap Tops, which is one of the shows at Blue Zoo and Dominic Minns, who is the series director on Doctor Who.

He's also the series director on Mojo Swap Tops.

I finally sat down and watched a couple of episodes of Mojo Swap Tops.

Upcoming animation from Blue Zoo studio will run for 26 episodes 2027 to 2028 and a further 26 episodes 2028 to 2029 for the preschool audience which demands Doctor Who because we know that's a great audience for Doctor Who.

So, yeah, it's brought in Dominic Minns on board.

Who's this guy? Don't know.

He's best known for directing CBB shows such as Supertato and the first series of Mojo Swap Tops.
