Of course, Warde has a few more months left on the job.

He was asked to stick around by now outgoing president Domenico Grasso.

And so we'll talk to Warde about, uh, well, a lot of things, leadership at the university, uh, obviously with the, uh, change in president, we'll talk to him about the five for five rule, and pros coming back to college, and a lot of topics that Sam has for Warde for his in-studio conversation.

If formally approved by the Board of Regents during a special meeting on September 1st, she will become U of M's 17th president and the second woman to hold the position.

She is scheduled to take office December 1st, replacing interim president Domenico Grasso.

Former, uh, uh, president Santa Ono resigned, as you know, back in 2025.

Hmm.

So she's got experience across some major academic institutions.

For now, the current president, Domenico Grasso, will continue his duties until November 30th.

After that, it's expected that Raver will be ready to lead the University of Michigan into its next chapter.
