but yeah let's get into Gears of War you start out in a prison as Marcus and you're rescued by your best friend Dom Santiago who poor man has so much trauma it's unreal some therapist would absolutely fall apart talking to him But one thing this game lacks, which I don't know if it's really the game's fault, but there's so much lore, so much stuff that isn't told within the games that I've only learned recently through reading the books, reading the comics, that really change the way you play this game.
