Dolby Atmos

In the UK, I see subtitles as the main reference to it.

So often you see a program listed with 4K video, Dolby Atmos audio, and then it'll say subtitles.

And then it'll say audio description for blind people, or just the audio description.

So you never recorded it thinking someone else was going to mix it.

the other thing i did want to read because i know you're you'll be excited about this apparently akira made as much money over this weekend in its um limited theatrical re-release than it ever made in any theatrical release prior to that yeah so if you were to add it up from its initial 89 showing um all through the decades this weekend it made more money than if you added all that stuff up

So, yeah, so downfall, 4K UHD disc.

It is in DTS HD 5.1. There's no Atmos, which is unfortunate.

But bearing in mind this movie's, what, 2007, something like that, you know, you wouldn't really have expected it.

Different renderings for speakers versus headphone in one bitstream, in the same bitstream.

All that stuff's in there.

I mean, they've got a top-notch streaming service, which is one of the highest quality.

It's one of the higher bandwidth services, particularly in downloading Dolby Atmos at 768K, which is a much, much higher rate than most of the competition.

except Sony Pictures Core, which is probably the best streaming service, but a very limited selection.

Apple could put something into place that could compete with Kaleidoscape, but it would be a different kind of system.
