Dog surfing

And now I bring her to, you know, I bring her to little ponds and rivers and hikes and stuff.

Isis is just not a surf dog.

She's also an adventure dog.

So I'd bring her to different little things and she would, little water waves.

This is how the whole story of the World Dog Surfing world kind of started.

But by that, at the time I wasn't even on social media a short, what, four years ago.

It's really special for us to be on our 24th year of honoring Duke by bringing our community, our lahui, down to Waikiki Beach to celebrate the way the beach boys have.

Not only participate in the surf contest as you see here, you've also seen dog surfing, which was part of our culture and history.

We're gonna have surfboard, water polo.

Beach volleyball will be up the way on Saturday and Sunday.

Hey, what's up everybody? We're still here at the Duke's Oceanfest celebrating 24 years.

A part of one of the events that's happening over here is the dog surfing competition, and I'm joined by a couple of cuties here today.

So we've got Layla over here hanging on to their dog, Luke.
