Their bench is really impressive.

I mean, Paulinia, Luke Bakio was starting at the World Cup for Belgium.

Echeverry, he's really talented.

I saw him a little bit at Girona last year.

But I think for Sunderland, you would expect him to get more regular reps.

Like, they were very, very short in those wing departments and had Sunderland fans be like, "Where are we getting these signings from?" I think it's no surprise they didn't end up getting Dodi Lukebakio.

But when you kind of look at what they were trying to do on deadline day and being like, "Yeah, even if we get Fofana, we're gonna potentially try and look at bringing other wingers in, other wide players," it, it suggests that they feel that that core is underdeveloped in, in terms of what they wanna do this season.

But I mean, look, electric pace, really good one-on-one ability, someone who gets into the box, who drives the goal very, very direct.

I was looking into this today and If he's so good, why let him go? Well, they wanted to firstly get a fee for him because all Portuguese clubs have to sell.

But Marco Silva tends to not be a big fan of Luka Bakio.

I think Rafa Silva started on the right and bought all three games this season for them.

They've also got Gianni Prestonini, who was the one who was allegedly racist to Vinnie Jr. and led to the whole you can't say anything, do that on the pitch incidents at the World Cup.

They're his first two choice right wingers.

So it's bizarre that Silva's suddenly so adamant to keep in look at Bakio.

It's not like They've only got one option out there and then need to get rid of someone else to get them in.

I think for me it, it might not be the most popular of opinions but Lukebakio fits the Glasner system a lot better than Ola Aina does.

And that's-- I think Ai- Aina did do well last night and got into good positions but Lukebakio's a natural left footer playing left wingback and I think Nico is better on the right.

Whilst obviously Nico was player of the season on the left and he switches well.

I think if you're gonna play Nico-- Nico played as a right wingback before.

We are also selling Tielemans, we're also selling Rogers and Konsa and Martinez and Lukebakio.

There's so much that's going on behind the striker position, you know, that it- it's very hard to just talk about that in isolation.

Because selling that amount of players who are that good, I worry that that would have a knock-on effect to the, [sighs] you know, don't about the culture at Bodymoor, but the dressing room in itself, there's so much gelling that needs to happen there and so much, uh, you know, different personality now coming into the dressing room, that sort of thing.
