Have you not heard what J&T said to him when they came back for Trial of a Time Lord? Yeah.

He says it in his memoirs.

He walked into the rehearsal rooms and said, you're getting fat, Colin.

But I do feel like there's a lot of these.

I mean, James and I, we did Trial of a Time Lord.

Oh, my God, Brian, you need to join us on watching Trial of a Time Lord because we can't get through all of them.

We started watching Trial of a Time Lord, right? We started watching and we went in there with really good intentions and we watched The Mysterious Planet.

And basically, we were just ready to end everything by the end

of the

leader of the, um, the tribes people.

When you're saying tribes people, I'm not picturing them.

Born of this day, Quiller himself, Michael Jason, of course, played the Valiard in Trial of a Time Lord, but starred in the 1975 BBC thriller series Quiller with the banger theme song.

It is a pretty great theme song.

By the way, this begins the era of the Master without a TARDIS, I gotta say.

They never explain it, but he was last seen in Trial of a Time Lord, and presumably if the Time Lords did something with him then, maybe they finally took away his TARDIS, but he still somehow escaped.

But again, you never actually see a Master TARDIS, I think, again in the series.

But I felt it was only right to commemorate a big anniversary from 40 years ago.

This was the month of the trial of a Time Lord.

I hope this was not going to be a trial for yourself or any of the other combatants who were about to enter the arena, least of all, Mr. Gary Akers.

I've, I've, this is the first time I've dipped me toe as well in, uh, in one of these, these missing stories, and I think there's, there's always a, a sort of criticism of, of Season 23, the, the one that we got, "The Trial of a Time Lord," which is, you know, why when you had the stories commissioned, you know, actors booked, directors in line, lined up, why did the, the team decide we're just gonna scrap everything and put ourselves in a position where we have to, you know, start a new series from scratch and rush everything into production? And I think this story is the perfect example of why they did that, because [laughs] it's not very good.

You know? So it, it, it's not a good advert for the rest, really.

It's not a good advert to say, that says, "This, this is brilliant.

And it's the same for Trial of a Time Lord as well.

Yeah, we can't do that.

We can't just do Key to Time every-

Um, Revelation of the Daleks is great.

Um, and then The Trial of a Time Lord season, I mean, we can lump it all in together.

Uh, and uh, I kind of knew my mum and dad had bought me the, the, The Trial of a Time Lord, the, the lovely TARDIS tin kind of thing, and I thought, "Yeah, I'm having that." [laughs] So-
