There are murders and mutilations all over it, as well as an unforgettable rug pull that goes from wittily suggesting a Whovian character that will surely excite everybody listening to suddenly producing another character in upsettingly reduced circumstances.

But even the prisoner in the tower has jokes to make.

Having one Dalek allows Shearman to really dig into what makes them interesting and scary.
