Doctor of Juridical Science

Taipei, Chiang Wan-an faced fresh scrutiny after his resume on the Legislative Yuan's English website was changed.

The education entry was switched from a Doctor of Juridical Science to a Juris Doctor.

Chiang said the resume was translated by an outside vendor and that the information he provided during his two terms as a lawmaker was always correct.

The city government said the Chinese language entry, a University of Pennsylvania Law School Juris Doctor degree, was accurate and that the English wording was corrected after being flagged.
