Doctor of Business Administration

I'm going back to school to get a doctorate.

I s- I'll be down in your neck of the woods, uh, three times a year at University of Houston, um, in their DBA program, and I'm getting, and I'm going to get a doctorate, not necessarily because it's gonna do anything for my career, 'cause it's not.

It's, it's not gonna add a dollar, um, to me or any credibility or, or anything like that.

But it will give me the opportunity, one, I think to show kids that, you know, to be quite honest look like me, that, that this is something that is achievable, right? You can, you know-

Yeah, a DBA, yeah.

DBA, and also, uh, explored entrepreneurship.

So there's-

That's why when you said success, I said a lot of success and some failures too.

Absolutely.

So to kick off, since I usually ask the first question after the introduction, I'll start by asking you questions about your DBA.

Okay.

Um, why did you decide to pursue a DBA? So it's a doctorate in business administration.

Yeah.

Why did you decide to pursue that? And where are you in the degree?

Yeah.

DBA, doctorate of business administration, not doing business as it's funny this, I just did that, that module, that module with my students about fictitious name registrations and things like that.
