Doc Walker

So tell me about this tour.

Well, you know, Michelle Wright, Doc Walker, myself, we've been at this for a couple of three years now, and it's just a great time to get out.

And, you know, we were all on stage together.

We're singing each other's songs.

It is a great story.

And it's one that our friend Amanda at World Vision had this concept where we would go to Africa and we would share this song we have called We Are One with a whole pile of Canadian guests on it.

Michelle, Doc Walker, Chad Brownlee, Jason Blaine, Carolyn Dawn Johnson.

The Harlem Gospel Choir is on the song.

And, uh, we had the opportunity to go to Zimbabwe.

So Michelle Wright and I, who are on the Great Canadian Road Tr- Trip, along with our, our pals Doc Walker, uh, Michelle and I were invited and we thought, "You know, this is a great message we want to bring home.

We want to not just tell people about it, you know, friends and family.

We want to use our platform to be able to echo the message of World Vision." Uh, so we're doing just that.

So, uh, we asked the Harlem Gospel Choir to join us on the chorus, and it's like, "Yep, no problem.

What do you need?" Uh, [laughs] we had Russ Broom, who's our producer and man of infinite patience, who got all of these different recordings from around the world, put them together.

You know, you got Michelle Wright, Doc Walker, uh, Jason Blaine, uh, fellow Hammer Clayton Bellamy on it.

You've got Chad Brownlee, Patricia Conroy, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, uh, Derek Ruttan, and Gordie from Big Sugar.
