So the way it got to Australia... was dk i'm sorry uh a kid's book about was bought by dk publishing in the uk and dk publishing was bought or is a subsidiary of penguin random house yeah yeah so so now it's it's only in english i don't i know it's in europe but it's only in english i don't know if it's any any other languages yet but it's so it's gone from the states to england and of course you know the uk and then australia new zealand

Oh, it's not as many as you've thought.

And then there was Andrew Chevalier's Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine.

It was Dorling Kindersley, something like that.

So those two, I think, were the backbone of where I really started learning about herbs when I was about 16 and i've been dabbling in it from between 13 to 16 uh making up the old traditional mint yarrow and elderflower cough cold and flu remedy for the family members and them all running in horror at the sight of me bearing this steaming mug it's like no we're not taking more of that stuff And then dabbling with things like rosehip syrup.

We had a fantastic book actually called Homemade in a Fraction of the Cost, which is a really old fashioned cookery book.

And you're going to love reading it with your child while cheering on Owl as he attempts to do things as a big boy.

My third picture book suggestion for today is a book called I Can Do That, 1,000 Ways to Become Independent by DK Publishing.

Now, this is a nonfiction book, so you're not going to sit down and read it with your child, but it is a great one to flip through because it gives them a sense of, oh, I want to practice this task or I want to learn how to do this.

With 1,000 options, please do not let that number overwhelm you.

I've read the Dorling Kindersley book of the human body.

You know, I know, but only really since I got ovarian cancer, because I did really want to check.

You know, when you Google what the body looks like or internal organs, you always see a man's body first.

Yes, and the 60 years of DC.

And all of a sudden, DK Publishing is putting out all kinds of stuff.

Those books are so foundational.

And you've worked with Tomorrow's, right? Like certainly Tomorrow's, a lot of the books that they put out too.

I think that's a design visual thing, right? Like, you know, you want your hardcovers to look nice, but I still try to have some kind of connection For instance, all my reference books are together.

All those DC Marvel encyclopedias from DK Publishing or history books, they're all together on a shelf.

And then my crisis stuff is all together on another shelf.

And then I have another shelf that is like hardcovers and topics and authors that are mostly Latino-based, whether the story is or the author is or whatever.

I was the one that wanted to take the bike apart and then hopefully be able to pull it back together.

And there's a Dorling Kindersley book from when I was a young child called The Way Things Work.

And it's got tens of pictures of machines and tech devices and how those can be assembled and dissected and pulled together.

And I think That led me towards science, towards engineering.

That they love tanks.

But he had as a book, which I think is a DK Publishing book, and it's cross-sections of all the world's famous tanks.

Yeah.

I reckon Grayskull could easily do a whole book of all of the different, uh-
