Dj Tubbs

But then the drive stalled after Deuce Smith.

you know, came away on a big third down, knocking away ball away from DJ Tubbs that looked like it was going to be a touchdown if he didn't make the play.

And then that set up Bosco's field goal attempt.

That's blocked by Jake Martin right before the half.

Great.

DJ Tubbs.

Brilliant.

Only down the road.

And any idea how much money it would raise? Have you any idea? You mentioned sponsorship and everything there, Ellen, earlier on.

Yeah, we have a target.

We're not going to reveal it today, if that's okay, because the very last part of the night before DJ Tubbs comes on board is the reveal of the funds

raised.

But then it would take them on a fourth down to get the TD to get that 7-0 lead.

But then Bosco answered right back on a one-yard touchdown run by Malik Allen that was set up by a third and 11-yard conversion by DJ Tubbs.

So that was the first one that they got, you know.

Yeah.

You know, they got down to the 33-yard line, but they were denied by, again, by Kingston Fatu, who made back-to-back tackles for losses, including a tripped-up sack on Toki.

You know, he came in on the safety blitz, and that took them out of field goal range.

And then on that next possession, Bosco again converted on a third down 38-yard pass to DJ Tubbs.

But Anhor the Great Johnson came from behind and punched out the ball, stopping Bosco from a possible, you know, another score.

There's a very intentional approach to what they're doing, and I don't think that was ever more evident than last weekend.

Yeah, you know, and, and the fact that he's also there, you know, uh, one of his other stops being Bosco and, and attending their game, uh, you know, it was a, a big, uh, game for him to be at because you also had, uh, somebody like Stacy Ford, the director of player personnel over at Oklahoma, was recruiting DJ Tubbs really hard, uh, the receiver in the '28 class that UCLA's also going, uh, hard after.

So, you know, Chesney showing his face that, uh, especially because, uh, it's been reported that Oklahoma's been, you know, coming on even stronger of late.

I think Tubbs even mentioned that they're kind of recruiting him hardest.

The junior quarterback, 18 of 25 for 225 yards and two touchdowns.

Um, threw those to, um, none other than Malik Allen, uh, caught a touchdown, and so did junior wideout, um, uh, DJ Tubbs.

So that was big.

You know, on the flip side for, you know, JSerra, they didn't get their, their ground game going, um, the way it has been producing.

You know, uh, and Bosco, you know, pretty much had their way with the Lions on both sides of the ball.

They scored on five of its six first half possessions, that included a Dylan Davis interception that led to a 22-yard Malik Allen TD, and, you know, that made it 20-0, you know, in the midway in the second quarter.

You know, and then with two minutes and 32 seconds left at half, Koa, Koa connected with DJ Tubbs in the end zone.

And, you know, the Jesera DB actually got a hand in, in it, in there and pulled the ball up away from Tubbs, but the ball went straight up in the air, and then Tubbs kind of like, you know, regained possession and, and caught the TD.

And I'm thinking a guy that might be on your list could be from St. John Bosco.

That would be DJ Tubbs, recently got a Stanford offer.

Um, got some pretty strong stats.

Um, 28 catches, 394, six touchdowns.

It's got a punt return for, for a score averaging just over 14 yards reception.

What do you have at wide receiver and is DJ Tubbs there?

I got him one on my list and followed by his teammate, Kakuo Moalali.

Yep.
