And yeah, when, uh, DJ Enuff was playing the record, shout out to DJ Enuff, he played it on Hot 97 for like a week.

And then I got a deal, a solo deal, and it was crazy, 'cause the solo deal, the advance was so much more than the group deal I got for the single deal when I was 17.

So it was like culture shock.

I was making dope music.

I had records with Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch, Wayne, Fab, Fat Joe, T.I., everybody.

So it wasn't the music, it was the business, you know? And that was my first taste of you could have some dope ass music, you could do all the interviews, you could do all the promos for the Big Dog Pit Bulls and the Heavy Hitters and the Core DJs and TJ's DJs and Felli Fel and Flex and DJ Enuff and DJ Irie, you know what I'm saying?
