Dixon County, Nebraska is moving into the design phase for its new $12.5 million courthouse project that will replace the county's current 140-year-old courthouse.

The new facility will be built as a standalone courts building after county voters rejected a $20 million bond proposal to build a law enforcement center, including a jail, in 2024.

BVH Architecture is the project designer, with Sampson Construction selected as the construction manager at risk.

And his Columbia Lions played in Dixon County this past Friday night, and you came out victorious, man.

You turned the ship around on last year's game against Dixon County where you guys, oddly enough, gave up a couple of touchdowns by 10 points to Dixon County in Lindsay Nelson Stadium here in Columbia.
