Can we have, could we have an introduction first of all from you? Would you mind giving a bit of an introduction to yourself first?

Yeah, of course.

So I have the absolute honor and privilege of being the assistant head and the early years lead at Ashby Hilltop.

Um, I have been here since 2012.

Um, I like to say the date now rather than the years because I don't feel like I'm still quite old enough for this to be my job, but, you know, here we are.

Um, and, you know, I'm really lucky that the place that I work is really a place that feels like home.

It feels happy, it's safe, and it is a joy, a honor, a privilege to come here every day, and that families year on year trust us with one of the things that is the most special and important things in their life, which of course is their children.

Yeah.

I mean, what sorts of things do you feel like you kind of need to say, like, "Well, we care about this, and so we're gonna do it"?

Yeah.

I think one of the things that we live by now is this whole idea of going slow to be able to go fast.

It's not a race.

Childhood is not a race.

It's not about who can read the words the fastest or write the words the fastest or, you know, all of those things.

For us, it's about we will always, everything comes back to the children's wellbeing and involvement.
