Iron Maiden are turning 10 American bars into Eddie's Dive Bar starting Saturday.

Scorpions have pushed their Vegas residency back a full year with no explanation.

And Carcass have postponed an entire run of Asia-Pacific dates for a reason nobody's going to argue with.

And here's what's happening.

Iron Maiden's U.S. leg opens Saturday in New Jersey, and 10 American bars are about to get taken over.

They're called Eddie's Dive Bars.

Pre-show meetups in a real bar near the venue on show day.

So what's going on? Why are you meeting so many people? What's happening just today at Hurley's before we get into

why you're on? September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, we're hosting the Eddie's Dive Bar for Iron Maiden.

So basically, it's their drinking hole in each city where they sell their merch.

You get Trooper beer.

The Hunt Ridge Tavern is another classic Vegas dive.

And it was Anthony Bourdain's favorite dive bar.

Okay, well now I have to go because I don't think I realized that.

The Huntress Tavern is featured in Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Season 3, Episode 2, titled, quote, Las Vegas.

Jive Turkey Around the Corner is also good.

Then he mentions Double Down Saloon, also known as the happiest place on earth.

It's a punk rock dive bar and it's close to the airport.

Now, I have never been to Double Down Saloon, but I've heard people mention it.

The Pit was a fitting name for this establishment.

A dimly lit dive bar permeated with the perpetual smell of stale beer and cigarettes, cheap drinks and cheaper clientele.

Okay, so just real quick, real quick, that little thing he just did where he's like, "Stale beer and cigarettes, cheap drinks and cheaper clientele." We, we complain so much in stories about people over-explaining things or like taking two...

Dive bars are such a special thing in any city, but especially gritty ones like Pittsburgh.

A while back, we put a call out for folks who could talk to us about the best ones around here.

I made up a bunch of silly superlatives, and across the board, the two people shouted out the most were the women on the show today.

Yeah, I mean, it's part of dive bar and it's dive bar tradition.

That's what you order.

Well, we are here to talk about dive bars, the best in Pittsburgh, but also like what makes them great.

Does Pittsburgh, do you think, have a good dive bar culture?
