One is a series of service disruptions across the SaaS ecosystem, which is Salesforce.

And then the third one, the one involving DNOW and MRC's global merger, that one is a legal and securities issue tied to ERP implementations during an acquisition.

But the more you look at these three stories and newsworthy topics that I'm going to talk about here today, the more connected they become.

So for a long time when people talked about ERP risk, They usually meant one of a handful of things.

It's the fact that there's a class action lawsuit related to it that just recently breaking.

This is related to a company called D-NOW,

which had recently acquired or merged with another company called MRC Global.

And if you don't know, D-NOW is a multibillion-dollar organization.

I think they do about $3 billion or $4 billion in revenue, and they make industrial components for energy companies.

And so, manufacturing distribution company, they use, from what I understand, they're using SAP.

And they also cited some operational flaws and guidance delays.

So, management conceded that the flawed software design architecture caused severe operational slowdowns, it impeded customer service, and required substantial unexpected capital expenditure to remediate.
