OPCDA is the older than OPC UA.

OPCDA is kind of DCOM, DOS-centric communications, so serial level kind of communications.

And UA is unified architecture.

And that is a newer standard.

Well, again, kind of speaking from Fullstate's perspective, the biggest kicker is underscoping the amount of work involved in OPCDA.

It is a bear.

Getting DCOM to work in any sort of modern network is a nightmare, to put it easy.

and I think internally we've become really good experts at managing that.
