Distant Early Warning

And then we got a couple of nuggets that I thought.

We got Distant Early Warning, Red Barchetta, Dreamline, Natural Science.

Then they did Time Stands Still, which is another Neil tribute.

And Amy Mann came out and sang with Geddy.

And it featured a lot of videos from this album.

And this is how I came to know these songs.

So Distant Early Warning, After Image, The Body Electric, and The Enemy Within all had videos on this VHS video.

And so that's where I first heard and saw them in all their new wave glory.

But we're getting a little bit ahead of ourselves.

The album itself opens with Distant Early Warning.

Big song for them.

Big video on MTV.

They actually had four videos from this album.

I don't remember seeing many of them other than Distant Early Warning.

They also had mullets.

They did.

I would have loved to see The Trees.

At almost half, there's Distant Early Warning.

Yeah, that's the one.

I mean, I love Red Sector A, but that's a great track too, Grace Under Pressure.

And the last time I saw them play at chicago which is i don't know it was either before the girl was born or right around that time they did play distant early warning in their set and i've you know so i've technically seen it not only seen it but seen in that building but it doesn't mean i wouldn't like to see it again and then far cry look i don't love snakes and arrows but i tend to like it better than clockwork angels OK, partly because I saw that two or three times.

And so it kind of got ground into me a little bit.

But I think it was a cool thing to do live, whereas Headlong Flight from Clockwork Angels, I didn't really like that at all.

And then you start to get into the ones that they rotate in and out rarely.
