Disney Magic

C'était déjà prévu pour nous d'aller faire la croisière Disney en Alaska, mais dans les dernières minutes avant qu'on fasse l'achat, qu'on qu'on fasse l'achat de notre croisière, on a eu une belle invitation de Disney.

Seulement quatre agences du Québec avaient reçu cette invitation-là sur le Disney Magic.

Et je vous parle de la destination, mais je vous parle aussi de notre croisière.

Qu'est-ce que— comment ça fonctionne ? Qu'est-ce qu'on a visité et est-ce que je vous recommande une croisière en Alaska, tout simplement.

J'ai voyagé beaucoup, souvent aux mêmes places quand même, vous allez dire, Mais quand même, j'ai la chance de de de voir plusieurs endroits et je vous dirais que l'Alaska, j'ai adoré.

Mais vous allez voir, ça a pris du temps avant que mon adoré commence et je m'explique pourquoi.

Donc premièrement, Disney Magic, donc un ancien navire de Disney, un plus vieux navire.

Et là, les gens, souvent, c'est la première question qu'on va me poser.

All right, moving on to Disney Cruise Line, on to the ships.

What's your favorite Disney Cruise Line stage show on the Disney Magic or the Disney Wonder?

Uh, Frozen.

Frozen was great.

All right.

Well, I've gotta ask you, which one is your favorite ship, the Disney Magic or the Disney Wonder?

I really liked the Magic.

What were the dates? How long was the cruise? And let's start.

So our date for the cruise on the Disney Magic was technically Thursday, August 13th through August 20th.

We did go ahead and stay a few days in Vancouver.

We flew in on a Tuesday morning.

So did they bring you on the ship with as much pomp and circumstance as they do in Cape Canaveral?

Jason's shaking his head no. It's this in spirit it is.

But when you've been on the Disney Treasure, which is a wish class ship, and then you go to a Disney Magic, which is the very first Disney cruise line, it's a little underwhelming when you go into the atrium.

As much as a hotel to a motel.

And it was about all of the itineraries that are coming out of San Diego for the Disney Cruise Line.

That'd be on the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic, which was the original Disney Cruise Line ship.

So we thought it would be fun to take a look at those, discuss them a little bit, and then have some fun, hopefully with technology.

And we will rate if this works.

They've also expanded their fleet presence with the Disney Cruise Line.

It has doubled down on the region, adding a second permanent ship, the Disney Magic, as part of the long-term port extension stretching through 2031.

And then the terminal activation to handle day-to-day multiple ships in the port.

San Diego is heavily utilizing its secondary Broadway Pier cruise facility alongside its primary B Street terminal.

We are going to have more Disney cruises from Galveston.

They've announced their fall 2027, early 2028 voyages, and it will be the Disney Magic again.

And she will be doing a variety of four, five and seven night cruises out of Galveston.

There is also the Panama Canal, both directions from San Diego to Galveston in November and then back over to San Diego in April.

It's like, "I'm joining the fleet now." They're gonna have to make another one soon with the Believe, so you know, that, uh, I, I just love the creativity of that and the...

It has heart, right? It, it just shows that they get it, you know, because for those people that have fallen in love with Disney Cruise Line over the years, like, that, that's exactly, that's exactly what it's about, right? I sailed the Disney Magic in the first year that Disney Cruise Line was around.

I still remember Stateroom 7500.

I didn't know what I was doing.

That was, like, our big thing.

That was, like, my nautical experience as a kid.

But when the Disney Magic came out in, what, 1999, 1998, the first year it came out, went on a cruise, Stateroom 7500.

Didn't even know, like, I don't even know if I picked that stateroom, if Disney picked it for me back in the day.
