Discovery Island

Next up is the Smiling Crocodile.

It's a kiosk in Discovery Island.

You might recognize it by its former name, the Gardens Kiosk.

The small stand is known for having a menu that changes throughout the year, so you never quite know what delicious surprise might be waiting for you.

Yep.

I didn't know they had orange dough up there and I'm sad because now I want to go have that.

So one of Disney guests' favorite spots is Nomad Lounge, and it's tucked away on Discovery Island.

It's next to Tiffin's Restaurant, which is the sit-down that we covered when we did the sit-down restaurants.

Now at Animal Kingdom Park, they've got, this is from November 6th through January 3rd.

And at Discovery Island in Terra Treats, this is the one I want to go get.

It is a festive cookie dough brownie ice cream sandwich.

That's a

That's like Main Street, USA.

You're like walking in and then that dumps you off into Discovery Island.

That's where that's the hub.

That's where the tree of life is.

So we'll talk about kind of each one of those in a little bit.

Actually, let's just cover it real quick right now.

So Discovery Island, that's going to be just garden paths.

Again, the centerpiece here is the Tree of Life.

so so special like yeah so much good information so whether you have an animal lover at home or you don't like i think there's something for everyone here and it's also very educational um and so i think this is such a cool thing to do you can build pick up a wilderness explorer handbook from headquarters which is the bridge between the oasis and the discovery island in the little booth where you get started is right on the right And then again, it's something that you can do all throughout the park.

So as you're going to the different trails or different areas in the park, you can do this activity.

So I think it kind of, not forces in a way, but kind of to slow down in those areas to kind of have those additional experiences.

So very, very cool.
