Dirk Johnson

And in that first season, was there a specific moment where you thought, "Well, I actually belong in this league"?

Uh, well, it was knowing what I was going up against with, uh, Dirk Johnson, who was the punter at the Eagles at the time, and I would go back and chart all my punts throughout the preseason.

And I knew that he was a good punter and, but I would go back and chart all his punts and I would chart all my punts.

And at that time, I just knew at every session I'd go and I'd look at the numbers and I'd go, "Yep, I won that session." And then w- you know, apart from, you know, maybe one or two sessions where I didn't probably punt so well, um, I just at, you know, that whole through process, I just knew that I had what it takes to, to be in the NFL.
