Fico claims that developments within the Prosecution Service are influenced by the fact that Žilinka is a nominee of the current opposition.

The SMER party considers Žilinka an obstacle to restoring public trust in the rule of law.

Žilinka should resign from his post because of failures and his inability to fulfill the duties of the prosecutor general.

Žilinka responded by saying that he intends to remain in his position until the end of his term.

On domestic politics, Pellegrini said next year's parliamentary election could produce a stalemate.

They are convinced they know them, they will fight for them, but they don't know what the real social democracy should look like, what the social democrats should stand for.

I mean, one of the signs should be, for example, that Smer got kicked out of the European Social Democrats party.

Maybe that's a sign for some people, for others it isn't.

You never know.

But also it shows in how easy, for example, Smer can manipulate the world liberalism and liberal democracy.

And they use that very often and also their voters do that very often and they basically don't know what liberal democracy with liberal principles means and it's not something bad because they play it with the traditional card that liberal means like progressive like a whole different agenda and we are conservative so they are the enemies but that's not what liberal state means.

they completely mix up the the words the statements just because they know that in uh maybe not majority of their voters you know but what they want to like uh activize uh in the population that it will ring uh the bell they need to ring you know and it will get them on their side But they know how to use those words and they are using the state of the education that, you know, people don't really care to know when we are talking about the internet, like go on the internet and put in liberal democracy and see what it really means.
