Dion Beebe

I think John Krasinski finally shakes off the mantle of Jim Halpert, uh, firmly with this performance and does a really great job.

Uh, you know, he's working with a two-time Oscar-winning cinematographer, uh, Dion Beebe, shooting digitally, uh, fully digital for the first time in a Michael Bay movie.

And I think that it, uh, I think it works.

I think it, it's a, it's gonna be tough going for people 'cause it's not, it's not a, an easy story.

I don't know if you can see.

It's through s- these series of beads, the sort of side shot there, and that's something that Dion Beebe and I worked very hard on to create a mysterious, and exotic, and sensual, hidden world.

And, uh, wanted to give a sense that we were peering into this world, and so we constantly shot through fabric, or bamboo, or, um, screens of some kind to give a sense of a hidden world.

How old are you?

Colleen Atwood was our costume designer on this movie, and, uh, we were fortunate to have worked with her before in Chicago.

In fact, we carried a lot of people from Chicago with us onto this movie.

We, um, not only the costume designer but also the production designer, John Myhre, and the cinematographer, Dion Beebe.
