The numbers really put it in perspective.

In the year this massive panic took off, there were roughly 600 known cases of DCM in dogs in the United States.

Now, losing 600 dogs is awful.

So in such cases, the ventricular arrhythmias are mainly correlated with the histological abnormalities.

As we all know, dilated cardiomyopathy is associated with fibrosis, mainly at the level of the left ventricular myocardium, and fibrosis can induce reentrant circuit and monomorphic ventricular tachycardias.

If we consider arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, as we all know, there is a fibro fatty substitution, mainly at the level of the right ventricle.

So you have to manually recognize the ventricular beats and automatically the alter program can say you the mean coupling interval.

And for example, in human beings, if the mean coupling interval is more than 500 milliseconds, This is a criterion for starting the therapy because this kind of coupling interval induces a systolic dysfunction.

And we do not want to have a systolic dysfunction due to the coupling interval on Dobermans and with DCM and on Boxer with RBC.
