Digimon World

I should have just had a think.

Or is it called Digimon World? Hmm, I can't remember.

Anyway, in that, your Digimon will digivolve, but it doesn't tell you what you've done or what's caused it or anything.

I just spend most of the time being like, what is happening? But I knew that in this one, there was lots of like really random, well, not random, but like hectic requirements to get certain Digimon.

Wow.

This is like, you know, yes, this is that look, but the environments remind me of, you said Digimon? Eric, do you guys remember Digimon World on PlayStation 1? Oh, yeah.

That's what these environments remind me of.

100%.

So putting aside the aforementioned anime, so it was originally a Tamagotchi-style line.

Then it got a couple of other bits, including the Digimon World game, which helped boost its popularity.

Then the Digimon Adventure anime, and then this massive franchise that remains one of Toei's top owners to this day.

But to be more specific, so there was the one-shot Come On Digimon manga in 997.

When I did the Toy Stranger demo, it was like, oh, here's Toy Agumon, or Lego Agumon, if you want to say.

And I was like, why?

Agumon is kind of like the Pikachu, the Digimon world.

then because there's also like oh here's black agumon and you can can probably figure that one out sometimes digimon goes a bit too far you know maybe maybe you don't need quite as many agumons but but you gotta sell toys
