Diddy Men

If I'm being really honest as an adult now, you know?

You toured with Ken Dodd and became part of the Diddy Men.

So what did you learn about entertaining audiences by being part of that experience?

Well, Ken kindly gave me my own slot.

So people always say this, because obviously he was famously known for the Diddy Men.

But I used to go on and sing two songs on his show.

And one was the Defladermouse, you know, the laughing song, which is an opera song.

Knotty Ash, actually.

Yeah, Ken Dodd and the Diddy Men.

I'm officially the world's tallest Diddy Man.

So I was born in Knotty Ash, yeah, and moved down to London when I was six.
