And actually, some of those early Credo studies were not favorable to charters.

So charter school opponents, including union members and the Diane Ravitch types, et cetera, used to wave those results from Stanford saying, "What? So this is proof that charters are actually no better than traditional public schools." But then a funny thing started happening about ten, fifteen years ago, is that every subsequent Credo study that's come out has shown improving charter school results, and in some cases, jaw-dropping.

So the most recent study here is the twenty twenty-three National Charter School Study Three.

It covered the years twenty fourteen to twenty nineteen across twenty-nine states, DC, and New York City, and it matched more than one point eight five million charter school students.

The teachers union went on strike.

And then of course, Diane Ravitch and others, you know, Diane Ravitch has had a change of heart kind of as she's moved time and space in some ways, but Albert Shanker, 10 toes down to the end, you know, they're going to have, we're going to have a strike and the strike went on for over a year.
