And we just saw the episode where Daksha writes this like Daksha Dharma, the Daksha Smriti, and that's a law book.

So the books on law and the books on codes of conduct and all of those things, those Dharma Shastras, they're called Smarta text or Smritis.

And if there's anything we learn from the Puranas, it's that Daksha and his civilizational project of creating a balanced, har- harmonious urban society is at odds with Shiva's project.

Now, Shiva doesn't really have a project, and that's the problem.

So four are the Vedas.

Then there are Puranas, Nyaya, very important, Mimamsa, and Dharmashastra.

Four plus four, eight.

And then there are six Vedangaj.

So that meant two things for us.

That means what? If people cannot change their svabhava, then we thought, "Then what is the purpose of Shastras? How can Shastras really-- What is the use f- what is the use of studying Shastras, especially Dharma Shastras?" And then the second thing is, what is the use of self-effort? If the svabhavas cannot be changed, then what is the use of self-effort? We can let everything go by our own svabhava.

We could probably react to all situations according to our svabhava.

So tho-those were the two things that, conclusions that we could have made.

But all, not all raga dwesha, we actually convert it into action or words.

So we, at that point of time, we have, we have a choice whether to convert the likes and dislikes into words or, or into action.

And what are the two things that will actually help us to decide that? Our knowledge of Shastras or the Shastras that we had studied, what is good, what is bad, what is right, what is wrong, the Dharma Shastras that we have studied, as well as our free will, our effort.

We-- Those are the things that actually decide on whether those likes and dislikes get converted into words or action.
