DEVONthink

So for example, in OmniFocus, I might have a task that says, empty the washing machine filter.

And then I have a link back to Devonthink in my case, which has got the manual in it for my washing machine.

And I actually have a link to the correct page in the manual that tells me how to empty the washing machine filter so that I don't do the stupid thing of just trying to unscrew the center part without draining it first and accidentally getting water all over the garage floor because that would be really annoying.

So, you know, I find that I need personally at least two applications to build my system.

And, you know, they'll, they'll have plug-ins and other things that, to manipulate the, the, the information, but in the end, they're still just text files.

Another one that I use is DevonThink.

And again, you can put anything in DevonThink.

You can put photos, PDFs, you know, any kind of document.

But it's essentially all just files in the f- in the file system on the computer.
