Now, Eli, uh, just to get your perspective on the situation here in Edmonton with the two goalies that now that, uh, Freddie Andersen looks like he's not gonna be able to start the season.

But with Devon Levi, Tristan Jarry, what's your overall opinion of these two guys of, of what you've seen up to this point, and are these the right goaltenders for this particular team, do you think?

Yeah.

I mean, that's a, uh, uh, putting me in a bit of a corner-

But what do you make of a three-goalie system at the NHL level? Do you think it can work and be successful for the Edmonton Oilers?

I don't think it's ideal.

I think if you, if you see Devon Levi as the long-term, uh, solution to whether a, a starter at some point or even a backup goaltender, um, in the league, I, I, I would tend to think that you want him to playing, be playing a lot of games at the American Hockey League and gain experience and go through different things, ups and downs, leading teams, um, to winning records, uh, fighting in, in, in positions where you're behind in games and, and winning, uh, games for your team and, and gaining that experience rather than sitting and being a third guy.

And yeah, you're there, you're getting practice, you're getting to know the system and all that kind of stuff, but you're really getting no game experience.

Alex Tuch, gone.

Uh, Devon Levi, gone.

They had to re-sign a lot of their core.

Zach Benson re-signed.

I really do.

I think Devon Levi should be ready to go, 'cause there's an opportunity to create a buzz about himself here, uh, from the, from the coaching staff with Anderson out.

There's so many storylines running through this team.

Not to mention, you know, we, we, we, it's been well documented, uh, that, you know, Connor McDavid's contract and where it's at.

They played about 16 minutes of five-on-five, and Tristan Jerry and Devon Levi were excellent, uh, before they went to three-on-three, and Josh Simanski ended it, but here is Alex Formin on signing with the Oilers.
