Devir

Salton Sea is very much a game about difficult margins and tough economic choices.

This was put up by Devir in 2024, so naturally the box is just a touch too small, but nonetheless very cute.

It is about extracting brine and then using geothermal energy and using the salt for lithium ion battery production in the Salton Sea in California.

So it's an interesting topic in the context of energy production and climate change.

Uh, but, uh, time will tell.

As I say, early experiences, uh, whether the novelty is just pleasing me greatly because it's a little bit of a different spin on a traditional economic engine or whether it is solid enough to really have those kinds of legs, I'd be very eager to find out, suffice to say.

So that's Salton Sea by Devir Games 2024.

Mark, I got to play Regicide Inferno, so the two new games from Badgers of Mars showed up.

It's nothing but theme.

And if you enjoy a game that is w- theme over mechanics, Rock Hard 77 by Devir.

This was an ama-...

I, I, I, I don't know if I, I don't, I don't know if I'd buy this game, but I wanna play it with you, 'cause you would like it.

if I hadn't played this game with Enrique and Chris, I don't think I would've liked it.

I think if I had played this game and said, "Hey, everybody here..." It, they made the game.

So for what it's worth, Devir, which Devir does great, great amount, and I'm pleased Devir.

Send me that paper money.

I think it was a 2012, 2025 release.

Oh, Devir.

Well, it, it says, uh, Schmidt Spiele, but it looks like Devir is also has it, too.

Yes.

And 999 Games.

Oh, that's interesting.

Yes, there were several, several different publishers.

Uh, Devir and Schmidt Spiele, I believe, are maybe bringing out a new, like, English/Spanish, uh, Italian edition, you know, yeah.
