Golden Pothos

I mean, common names can be tricky because one person's money plant can be another person's money tree, and they all have their own stories to how they got their name.

But we are talking about Epipremnum aureum, and it's an evergreen vine growing to at least 60, 70 feet long, with stems up to two inches in diameter in its natural environment.

It will climb up trees using aerial roots which adhere to basically any old surface.

It'll climb right up trees.

Completely different, some news about Lego.

In the beginning of August this year, Lego launched a new product called the Golden Pothos.

So you may have known it, or you may notice that Lego has, like, a line of flowers and plants that you can build yourself.

But lately, in the last years, they've also been releasing sets of houseplants.

So the latest one in that collection is the Golden Pothos.

So to me, it struck as, hmm, how I'm gonna put this? I'm not a fan, but yet I'm not a fan of plastic plants either, so this might be into the realms of that.

You know, some of your sort of entry-level easy care types like Golden Pothos or any of the Pothos varieties, Hartley Philodendron, any of those varieties, a lot of the Peperomias, those are perfect for hanging baskets.

If you can find a way to hang from the ceiling or if you have that lofted bed or even like if you're a fancy dorm, you have an entertainment center, you bring in an entertainment center, you know, hang plants from there.

If you're super duper crafty and into it, those vining plants, again, like pothos, you could do some sort of crisscrossing twine or something along the ceiling, you know, and do a structure like that.

And what I've learned is that I don't really find some of the hard to find situations, some of the rare, different, and just the plants that I'm into in the moment.

Like most plant shops are just basic and they just carry the stuff that the normal everyday random person who likes plants will go in and buy, like a Golden Pothos or a Monstera Deliciosa.

There's just not a whole hell of a lot out there in regards to things that are different, unique.
