I think Dez, the vocalist of Devil Driver, is reuniting with Cold Chamber and going to be putting out new music as Cold Chamber.

These are all bands that have been around for 20 plus years that I was listening to in the late 90s.

And I met a lot of fucking cool guys.

I met Dragon Force, Sabaton, Devil Driver, Suicide Silence.

I met Mitch from Suicide Silence.

Psilosis as well.

I honestly prefer when bands make it their own, but Dez can't do Bruce Dickinson's vocals.

But this is DevilDriver covering Iron Maiden's Wasted Years from the 2008 Maiden tribute album.

Then an oddball of the bunch, these guys would fall into the comedy metal genre.

Same group of people like Green Jellö or Psychostick.

Um, but what I like about Psycroptic is the amount of groove in their sound.

Ag- again, as per DevilDriver, they very much remind me of, like, Anti-Cult, Decapitated, and stuff like that.

Yeah.

There's loads of groove in it.

If you ever heard of them, uh, but, uh, yeah, really cool.

Like, um, groovy death metal band, kind of like if Devil Driver had a female and it was more death metal.

Gotcha.

Very cool.

I recently heard a podcast with Dez from Cold Chamber.

You know, he does Devil Driver now.

And he was talking about how it was an interesting perspective on Nu Metal because he said when all those bands were first coming up, they really were trying to do something different and not sound like the other bands.

And he brought up bands like Disturbed and I don't know, I can't think of another one right now, but he said they were like People called them new metal, but they really wanted to get on the radio and be mainstream.
