Another thing I wanted to touch was a similar reason why initially, if you just look at the stats, right, Sonal Dinesh has scored around 420 runs whereas Devdutt Padikkal is around 350 odd I believe but still the player of the series was given to Devdutt Padikkal simply because if you compare the two sides the team that eventually won was India but the deciding factor for them to go one up was the first test and in the one up test I thought Devdutt Padikkal played a very important role so I was listening to I think Harsha Bogle saying he was on the adjudicating panel for that and that's the reason he gave and yeah Devdutt Padikkal that's one of the big positives these two people see
