Devahuti

I still thought the answer was out there, so I started traveling around the world to try and find meaning, to try and find out what it was about.

And so here in the Srimad Bhagavatam, we've got a conversation going on between Devahuti and Kapila.

Kapila is the sage, and Devahuti is asking, "Tell me more about this religion of love, for it is not possible to practice the yoga of meditation without love for God." And so Kapila begins off, he says love is divine.

Love is of God.

Love is God, right? And so any love that you feel in your life is a direct manifestation of God.

There is no turning back.

svayambhūr nāradaḥ shambhu kumāraḥ kapilo manuḥ prahlādo janako bhīṣmo balirvayāskirvayam dvādaśaite vijāni mo dharmam bhāgavatam bhataḥ guhyam viśuddham durbodham yam jātvāmṛtam aṣṇute Quote, Lord Brahma, Bhagwan Narad, Lord Shiva, the four Kumaras, Lord Kapila, the son of Devahuti, Svayambhuva Manu, Prahlad Maharaj, Janak Maharaj, Grandfather Bhishma, Bali Maharaj, Shukadeva, Goswami and I myself know the real religious principle.

My dear servants, this transcendental religious principle, which is known as Bhagavad-dharma, or surrender unto the Supreme Lord and love for Him, is uncontaminated by the material modes of nature.

It is very confidential and difficult for ordinary human beings to understand, but if by chance one fortunately understands it, he is immediately liberated.
