Um, so the question is then who does he mean by that? And this is, this is where the gray zone sort of comes in, um, where some of them, as I say, there's this ethnic wing.

So some of them say, uh, things like the German people is dying out, and they want all the peoples in an ethnic sense separated and back in their own, uh, countries or, or where they came from and therefore have kind of Germanness restored as an ethnic category, and that's, that can mean re-migration.

And then at the other end, as I say, is people saying that they'll just deport people who d- who, um, shouldn't be in the country anyway, legally speaking.

Um, and everything in between is sort of up for grabs, and that's where you get different A- AfD politicians saying different things.

Yeah.

People who speak good German, people who claim Germanness, people who've been secretly infusing corrosive ideas into the Volk, but who never can quite belong, who can only create a mimicry of German culture.

Gee, yeah.

Yeah.

Conventional line drawn across the map of the rolling hills.

There is no inherent Germanness in this grass and inherent Swissness in that grass.

Is it kind of in- Germany is imagined.

Understood.

I mean, there are, there are so many bits but I think the, the central scene of the whole film is when the, when they break into the church.

This is when they are showing their true Germanness and their horribleness and-
