Detroit

Keep your thumb

down for Detroit.

Exactly.

And then catch their thumb while they're charging it.

Can

the Vikings stay undefeated even though they can't have offense? I'm going with Detroit.

All right.

I like the Lions.

A lot of people assume like, you know, five, one, somebody talked about earlier.

I think it ended up being like a five, one Carolina in the Detroit game or something that was close.

And it was like, that was still a close game.

We've also seen our guy title.

Grandma Corps.

Yeah, we are seeing menus pivoting to deep nostalgia, adult happy meals that blend the emotional comfort of childhood with luxury ingredients, and a massive renaissance in hyper-regional American pizza styles like Detroit, Tavern, and South Shore Bar Pizza.

Even fine dining establishments are aggressively reinventing themselves to appear more approachable and deeply comforting.

So what's the psychology driving this shift?

And that's really disappointing.

And finally, we have the Detroit Red Wings.

They're bringing takeout because they don't want to be there.

Ooh.

But they have released the jerseys.

So we have an orange jersey in San Jose, a very pea green jersey with just Vegas is the word mark in Las Vegas.

black with a bunch of stripes for Detroit and yellow and rust red for Hamilton, I think is the best way to put it.

They all use the same font and that they still all have the diagonal across the body positioning for the words.

...

Detroit, they have, they have a bye.

They, their bye is this week as well.

The next game for Detroit is going to be against Green Bay, October 25th.

Does Green Bay have a bye then, too?

And that's a Detroit home game.

Uh, do I have the Green Bay schedule? I guess I do.

Um, I've got so much going on here, Brad.

So interesting piece in the Detroit Free Press, demand for hybrid vehicles are surging, but people may not wanna go fully electric.

Gas prices are too high, so they're looking for something in the middle, and so in steps hybrid vehicles.

What does this mean? Is it a long-term trend? Is it a short-term fix for high gas prices? Let's talk about it as part of our Mobility Maker segment today, brought to you by Bridgestone.

And so there's a been a big pullback on EVs in what's being produced, what's being offered.

Uh, and some companies, you know, that have the hybrids, they are really selling them, but of course, you can't, can't sell them if you don't make them.

So the Detroit Three is really out of it.

Nissan doesn't have any hybrids.

Uh, they're, you know, keeping their sales afloat with big incentives.

Do

you don't want to be a coalition coalition with Detroit? I agree.

Do you know what is extraordinary, though, Robert? Don't you think we have a real problem with the mainstream media in this country? I know Reform UK is pushing ahead with this this plan to sort of go independent.

Personally, I would say, you know, embrace some of the independent media that is already here.
